Tips for Identifying a Used A/C Compressor

As our cars age, many of us will be faced with repairing or replacing air conditioning components. In the search for bargains, be sure you know what you are buying. The pictures below should help you identify a used A/C compressor. First, just look for grime (dirt and grease or oil mixed together) in the harder-to-clean areas. Cleaning solvents can often remove information on labels and even remove labels entirely.
